What’s the difference between the Ergoseat NG-H and NG-S?
The NG-H is ceiling-mounted (suspended), creating extra floor glass and a 10° forward tilt for unobstructed downward views — the only seat suitable for a viewing angle beyond 55°, ideal for STS/RTG/RMG cabins with glass floors. The NG-S delivers the same ergonomics in a floor-mounted design that fits virtually any cabin, including existing ones. Both are built on the same platform.
Which crane operator seat is right for my crane cabin(s)?
NG-H for overhead/container (or terminal) cabins where operators look steeply downward through a glass floor; NG-S where ceiling mounting isn’t possible or for fast retrofit. Downward-facing work → NG-H/NG-S; straight-ahead work in mining/steel/offshore → Heavy Duty Seat.
Are the crane operator seats adjustable for different operators?
Yes, 240 mm total height adjustment, 10° forward seat tilt, adjustable lumbar (2 heights), fore/aft seat and cushion, backrest inclination, adjustable armrests, pneumatic-electric suspension, optional heating/ventilation.
Do they fit STS, RTG and RMG cranes?
Yes, the seats are designed for STS/RTG/RMG cabins, with optional full cabin integration.
Can I install a new Ergoseat in my existing crane (STS/RMG/RTG) cabin?
