We are looking for a driven technical support engineer for OPS Factor in Zwolle who is looking for real technical depth and direct impact.

This is what you will do
As a technical support engineer you will work on innovative projects where reliability, precision and continuity are key. You will be involved in both engineering and installation and maintenance of advanced AV/IT systems, video walls and KVM solutions. You will report to the manager/director of operations. Below are some of your duties:

• Hardware and software engineering to video wall and KVM workstation systems.
• Repair of (embedded) electronic systems (RTU telemetry systems).
• Parameterize and configure IP-based KVM systems.
• Installation and commissioning of video walls (such as DLP and Direct LED systems).
• Technical support: preventive and corrective maintenance at customers.
• Support for system diagnostics, troubleshooting and remote support.
• Maintain technical documentation and reporting.
• Support for Remote Control Desk projects.

Here’s what we ask of you

• MBO + working and thinking level preferably in electronics, ICT or embedded systems.
• Experience or affinity with (embedded) computer technology and IP networking.
• Independent work attitude and sense of responsibility.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to participate in an availability shift (standby).
• Willing to travel abroad occasionally (frequency: several times a year, duration: 1 day to about 2 weeks).
