This is Metagro
Metagro has been designing cabins and operator chairs since the 1930s with a focus on comfort, safety and efficiency. Our custom solutions combine ergonomics and technology to improve performance and reduce physical strain. With global service and innovative products, we are always there for our customers.
Metagro and Merford Cabins
In July 2019, Metagro acquired Merford Cabins, the specialist in operator cabins for container cranes. The two companies share a history: both originate from coachbuilder De Jong in Groot-Ammers. Where Merford focused on container cranes, Metagro was mainly active in vehicle cabins, offshore cabins and cabins for other machinery. The merger brought together two companies from the same field, each with its own end markets. Merford’s expertise in STS, RTG and RMG crane cabins is now fully part of Metagro. Customers who know Merford Cabins will find the same knowledge, the same people and the same craftsmanship at Metagro. On top of that, they benefit from our ergonomic operator seats and our global service network.
