Marketing and communications officer

Your responsibilities

As a marketing & communications officer, you will be responsible for making the great projects, stories and goals within one of our technical divisions visible. You will translate this input into clear communication through our online channels, internal communication platforms and at events.

You work independently and interact easily with branch managers and account manager(s). Your location is Schelluinen, but on average you will be present once a month at the branches in Zwijndrecht, Maasdijk and Amstelveen. A driving license and your own transportation are therefore necessary.

Some of your duties

• Manage and update the website.
• Manage social media channels (such as LinkedIn and Instagram).
• Writing news releases and updates for internal communication via our app Bundling and the narrowcasting at the branches.
• Assist in the organization of events, trade shows and customer days.
• Translate technical projects, innovations and collaborations into understandable and engaging content (text and images).

Who are you?

You are open and eager to learn, daring to ask questions and open to new knowledge. Besides your sense of storytelling, you are also good at putting people and projects ‘in the picture’. You are independent and know when to coordinate or seek cooperation. Furthermore, you can work in a structured way and easily switch between different tasks and locations. In addition, you bring along:

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably in marketing, communications or commercial direction.
• Good commercial and visual sense: you know how to reach and touch target audiences.
• Experience with content creation, social media and managing websites (CMS).
• Strong writing skills in Dutch.
• Affinity for engineering or interest in the technical field.
